Kibiya is a known bakery in Kamakura, and the bakery offers what I would call “okay” selections. They have opened a restaurant part, and I can only say that the food is also just “okay”.
The food is somewhat tasteless, and seems it should be seasoned more. It reminds me of hospital food given to patients who can’t have salt, sugar, or fatty foods. Very bland.
The menu offerings are also very confused, and I’m not really sure what kind of food they offer. It’s not French, American, Japanese, or really anything else’s but a mix of anything. I guess the food was like the atmosphere - there were decorations that we kinda American, some Dutch, some French, maybe even some Greek? Overall, a confused presentation.
