Saw the photos here and had high hopes for this hotel. Arrived and check-in was normal. Asked by staff to park our car at an off-site lot. After 30 minutes, finally found the overgrown parking lot of a long-abandoned and decaying pachinko parlor as the lot. Another guest kindly pointed us there. ||After bringing our luggage back up the little hill from the lot, we went up to our rooms on the 13th floor. Upon entering, there was an overwhelming smell that I can describe as rotting gyoza. Searching the fridge and trash, there was no explanation for the smell. I tried to open a balcony door, but it was broken. There was also stains on the floor and bedding. Horrified and uncomfortable, I went went to check in with my family next door. ||Their room was filthy. Stained bedding, stained rugs, stained flooring. Their patio windows also wouldn't open and the toilet was broken. Upon inspection of both showers, they were moldy and stained. || At that point, we decided that two rooms so filthy didn't lend itself to asking the front desk to a clean room. The two rooms were the worst we experienced in Japan by far. ||In our experience, this place is a bait and switch. Nice photos but horrifying in reality. Out of our 10-day trip this hotel was our low point. Avoid and stay somewhere else to experience...

Read moreThe hotel was cheap so it’s fair to expect no frills, but I would have felt more comfortable if the room was not so dirty. The shower door was honestly disgusting with white limescale and black ‘stuff’, there were some stains on the bed sheets, the couch was old and faded and the bathroom taps were really dirty with grime too. I didn’t really want to use the kitchen stuff provided by the hotel so I used a disposable cup etc. As others mentioned the kitchen sponge was pre used and I think at least they could replace that with each stay if it has been used. The hair dryer was a decent Panasonic...
