Farm Cafe Mashu Mashu — Restaurant in Kawagoe

5 stars is too little. It is 10/10 !

From the moment I tasted one drop of the mini soup and salad starters, I knew I would be in for a treat. And boy was I right!

EVERYTHING was perfectly seasoned and textured. And I mean everything. The taco meat sauce was chunky and scrumptious. The rice was not a degree under-cooked nor over-cooked, just moist and soft. So good you could eat a bowl of white rice only, and be happy. Of course the fried egg on top was just perfectly a little runny and black-peppered for good taste. And now I know to always add cauliflower and broccoli to my tomato & avocado salad! Another deliciously dressed salad, this one adding wonderful acidity, bite and texture to complement the dish. The milk pudding to finish was yet another perfect pleasure.

I kid you not, even the water tasted fresh and delicious. Somehow they have perfected it, too, such that I am remarking it about here. Perhaps it was the solid ice cubes perfectly chillling the glass. I am not sure. All I know is that it was noticeably enjoyable, which is itself unusual.

Was this all a dream? I must have eaten it all in 15 minutes no less. I cannot believe how good it was. I must go back. Just be sure to arrive...

駐車場は、 道路沿いだけじゃなく、 敷地内にもたくさん停められるので、 停められなくて困ることはないでしょう。

店内も居心地がいいせいか、 回転率はよくないので、 水曜日の11時台でも約40分待ち、 事前に電話予約がオススメです。

ランチ品切れの場合もあるようです。

今回初訪問でしたが、 接客も氣持ち良く、 お料理の味も最高でした。

パスタが食べたかったので、 2人共パスタにして、 麺を乾麺と生麺で食べ比べオーダーしたら、 マスターが厨房からそれぞれのソースに合う組み合わせに変更アドバイスしてくださり、トマトソースにはしっとりソースが絡む生麺で、昨日作りたてというバジルソースに乾麺が、絶妙な組み合わせでした。

自家製夏野菜が、 どれも美味しく、 バジルとオクラの組み合わせが素晴らしい！

デザートの自家製牛乳プリンも美味しい！

ランチメニューが、 ほぼ千円均一と、 ドリンク代別ながらも、 かなりリーズナブルなので、 つい長居してしまうようです。

いつの間にかいっぱしの観光地と化した川越の、市街地からはだいぶ離れた田園エリアの中にひっそりとある、とーっても素敵なお店。

もう開店して11年間経つとのことでしたが、ここにこんないい店がある事を知らなかった自分を悔やむ。

今回は念の為予約してから行こうと電話したときから、対応してくれたお店の方がすっごく感じ良くて、当日も大渋滞に合いかなり遅刻してしまったのに、まーったく嫌な顔せずに皆さん笑顔で迎えてくれて、ホントにすごいホスピタリティっていうんですか、よくわからんけど、退店する最後の最後まで始終居心地良い食事が楽しめ感謝感激す。

カフェって銘打ってるけど、コーヒー紅茶に、ちょっとしたスイーツだけってわけでなく、かなりこだわったうまい食事も味わえます。

ましゅ飯というご飯系と平打ち麺のフィットチーネを使ったパスタが数種類といったところで、選択に悩む程、品数が多いって方ではないけど、ましゅ飯もパスタもオリジナリティあるここならではのお料理って感じで、このお店にハマる人が多いのも頷けました。
