GOEMON — Restaurant in Kawaguchi

Our experience at the restaurant was absolutely incredible. I visited with a friend, and even though we didn’t have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and seated with great hospitality. We ordered the Okonomiyaki and an egg wrap with pork belly, easily some of the best food I’ve had in Japan, hands down.

The staff went above and beyond, frequently checking on the food as it cooked on the grill and striking the perfect balance between attentive service and engaging conversation. They shared amusing and fascinating tidbits about celebrities and actors who had previously visited, which added a fun, personal touch to the evening.

Despite our elementary Japanese, the staff was extremely patient and accommodating, even helping us navigate the menu with the help of Google Translate (which I highly recommend having on hand). Their kindness and warmth made the entire experience...

Goemon has some of the best staff I have ever encountered. We did not have a reservation and they made space for us. The food was extremely delicious and to top it off the staff were also extremely welcoming and friendly to us even though we were foreigners. 外国人ですが、初めてレストランに対してこんなに不満を感じました。料理や他のスタッフはとても良かったのですが、年配の女性スタッフの態度には幾つか非常に不快な瞬間があり（特に③）、食事体験がすごい悪かったです。
