Kura Sushi Kawaguchi Koyaba — Restaurant in Kawaguchi

When I say sushi, you say DAI. The most incredible sushi experience of my life....... but it comes at a price of your sleep & time.

We woke up at 2:24am and arrived here around 3:27am. There were almost ~40 people in line already! Mind you, it was super rainy and cold too :(

I was completely fascinated by how bustling this area was... filled with fishermen and other store owners opening shop for the day. The waiting time is an experience in itself, but I personally had no problem sleeping on the street. Bring a jacket for sure!

Around 5-6am, we found the ONE coffee shop in the area. GREAT coffee, but it was about 450 yen for a tiny cup. Still worth it in our state of...

So good. So cheap. Insane. The 220 yen albacore was so good. Tastes like expensive sushi That specific nigiri had warm sishi rice topped with ice cold tender delicious fish. Wow.

Its the cheap end of sushi but still.bomb.

Why even have a gacha game if you're only gonna win after eating 30 plates? The gift btw was a Conan pin. Something my 3 year old can't play with 🙄

Another thing, the udon's broth tasted nothing like the traditional version. And the size of the tiramisu was...teeny.
