CRAFT & FARMERS SHINYURIGAOKA — Restaurant in Kawasaki

Craft & Farmers is located on the restaurant floor of Ito Yokado, less than one minute's walk from the South exit of Shinyurigaoka station. It serves a mix of "Japanese style" western foods such as Italian (pasta), curry (Japanese style) and steak etc. At lunch, a "Lunch menu" is available where each meal includes salad and a choice of drinks (coffee, tea, ginger ale etc.) An additional charge can be paid for cake and dessert. Most of these dishes are reasonably priced (between approx 900 and 1,500 yen depending on the dish.)

The highlight here is the craft beer menu. Although not large when compared to a "Craft beer" pub (which may have 20 or 30 craft beers on tap), there are 10 Japanese craft beers on sale here by the glass or pint. These include "weizen" and IPA styles from around Japan. If you like craft beer, note that there is a three-beer taster set available (very small glasses) for around 1,200 yen with your choice from the menu, OR (at time of writing, April 2018) a two hour all-you-can-drink option ("nomihodai" for 2,800 yen). This seems like a good deal when compared to the price of a pint, which starts at 880 yen (note however that your last order will be taken 90 minutes into your time.) 2022/5(土)、ランチで再訪。 陽気が良いのでテラス席も魅力的でしたが煙草の煙が懸念され店内席をチョイス。

見る限り館の喫煙所が隣接、上部が開放されてる感じなので煙草に敏感な人はやはりテラス席は避けた方が無難かも。

パスタ2種・バーガーを頼みましたが、以前より少し美味しくなったような気がしました。 サラダも美味しかったです。

気になったのは食べ終わるや否やお皿をガシガシ片付けられること。 良く言えば手際が良いのでしょうが、あまりに間髪入れず片付けられるので、何となくゆっくり出来ない＆早く出て行け的な印象を与えかねないサービスと感じました。

ランチメニューのカルボナーラをオーダー、メニュー画像より量が少なく感じました。男性だとやや物足りないボリューム感ですかね。やや塩気が強目でパスタも細麺で少し固めな感じはしましたが、クリームが濃厚なお味でまずまず美味しく頂きました。
