A genuinely lovely little oasis of a cafe, set on its lonesome down a long main road. As soon as you step in you’ll be hit by Showa/Vienna/Paris vibes. Lots of great little details and designs. The real stars are the lovely couple who run the place. The man likes to attempt a little light conversation, do a little magic - I mean, actual magic tricks ( kinda :p )- even with the language barrier. Have to absolutely give kudos to him. The woman is super nice as well, too. Coffee is very good and reasonably priced, and we also tried the curry and walnut & caramel tart - both winners. Best part is at no point did we feel like we had to leave. We could absolutely read, talk, drink coffee at a very elegant pace. I loved their curry and was surprised to see that the "Indian Toast" had 'Çemen' as a topping. In Turkish cuisine, fenugreek seeds are used to make a paste known as çemen ( チェメン ). Cumin, black pepper, and other spices are added into it. It's very delicious in my opinion, so I recommend you to try it.
