Italian Kitchen VANSAN Mizonoguchi — Restaurant in Kawasaki

Super slow service and the food is not that great. We ordered 1 simple pasta, 1 simple pizza and 1 veggie plate and it took 1 hour to have the food on table. The restaurant was not even full.

You have to order everything here through an app, which is ok, but the staff here might think that is the reason to ignore customers. Rather than paying attention to customers, they gathered, chit chat and check on devices rather than look around and take care of the customers.

Music choice was also terrible. Don’t expect to have a chill time here.

And most importantly, food!

Their pizza is just so so. The base was too thin and tomato sauce used was aggressively sour. The pasta was just a little better than the pizza....

What to say.. The service was excellent. Polite and positive. Ordered lunch set, not best choice. Went there with friends, and we got lunch set of pasta, drinks, salad and small dessert. Everything accept pasta was tasty. But pasta.. I ordered carbonara, but got sweet milk soup with hard cooked pasta, and pieces of hard minced meat. Not eatable.

Other pasta was squid and cod roe, dry and smelly.

Just third pasta bolognese was not bad. Juicy and flavorful.

Got out of the restaurant, paid a lot and was still hungry and not satisfied. Bad experience.

The restaurant is beautiful. It is charming and the employees are lovely. We took gnocchi which were just excellent. The pasta soup was good but less than expected. It would deserve more firmness and bouillon. Finally the Bismarck pizza in terms of taste was yummy but it needs more cooking to make it perfect the bottom wasn’t completely cooked. But we will come back and I recommend this place to everyone who loves...
