New Delhi Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Kawasaki

Let me start by saying that the waiter was very rude at me and not polite at all since the very first time I entered the restaurant and asked him if they had English menu. As soon as he realized I am not local, the few words he spoke were to order me to sit down and choose a meal. It was like I was bothering him right away, without even doing anything or talking to him. Moreover, it was not comfortable at all to see how he treated Japanese people very well, but with me he had no manners at all.

Regarding the food, I understand why locals give high rate to this restaurant, as they find this kind of food exotic to them and there's no other Indian restaurant in the area. I saw a couple of Japanese groups asking what the food was made of, e.g. asking about the Naan, so you can imagine some of the locals who come here had barely tasted Indian food ever. But to be honest, I've tried many different Indian restaurants and food in Japan and in my home country, and IMO this is one is average at most. I don't even need to try other food they serve here. The chicken curry had literally one tiny piece of chicken. The curry was ok-ish.

Excluding the drink, everything was 980yen tax included. It's not expensive, but also not worth it at all, as I mostly ate a bunch of rice with curry sauce and had a very bad experience with the waiter. I will definitely not...

Went for lunch during the weekday and the food was great.

The lunch set comes with all you can eat rice AND naan, which I don’t think it’s common. When I asked for a second(free) naan, I was also happy to receive a freshly-made one. In my experience, some Indian restaurants that provide you all-you-can-eat naan, don’t give your second naan “fresh”.
