I’ve been reading these reviews on this place and I see mostly good, which is what It deserves. I have had plenty of Chinese in my life and it’s by far the best fried rice I’ve had and the best fried shrimp I’ve had. The sauce is something I can’t put it words. It’s like the taste changes in your mouth and goes down so well. Sweet and sour chicken is my go-to. I’ve gone to this place 5 times and plan on going many times more. Idk what the deal is with these bad reviews cuz you would think out of the FIVE times I’ve gone, you’d think I’d have at least one negative experience like these other reviews had, but no. So idk if they’re cappin or not, but I recommend this place to anyone. Dragon is a very nice chef and knows very good English. He is not the owner like some say but sure as heck cooks like one. Anyways, I don’t usually ever post reviews like this about restaurants, but this was one I HAD to say something about. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt and go try it yourself, and if you DID have a bad time, which I don’t see how, then give it a second try.

A friend of mine described this place as "not so much a restaurant, as an experience." She went on to tell me that you don't really order your food so much as you are told what's cooking and how much of it you're going to want to eat and how much you're going to love it. I have to admit that after the aforementioned conversation I was a bit apprehensive about eating here; but good god, I'm glad I did. I can say with confidence that I've never had such great Chinese food. What's more, my friend had described the experience perfectly... And it works really well for this place. The waiter, Ryu, is also one of the cold and the owner and he loves to talk. If it's not too busy he will tell you stories while the food is cooking. When the food come, prepare to be blown away. I especially the spicy creamy shrimp. It's roughly what they would call Bang bang shrimp in the States, but with a twist that makes it better. Just make sure you go when it's not busy to get the full experience.

Wow! Im shocked! Chinese food on Okinawa has not been good to me the past 15 years, so i swore it off for a decade. (I personally usually only like American Chinese food so okinawa Chinese food was a bit of a culture shock to me) But man, did this place surprise me! Service was personal/custom. The owner took extra care to explain all the dishes to us and how special and how much care and pride goes into everything. I thought his words to be all fluff and no bite. Tickle me pink because, to my surprise, the flavors were deep and unique. Chinese food flavors like I've never had before. Incredibly impressed and will definitely go again. Owner asks kindly to make a reservation though, because he gets crazy busy most of the time.

I brought my family here and overall was a good experience. Good food portions. The food is brought to be shared amongst other plates. I enjoyed their fried rice, spicy (medium heat) chicken and sesame chicken. My daughter, 3 year old, enjoyed the sesame chicken the most out of everything we ordered; the stir-fry noodle dish was decent as well. We also ordered the appetizer spring rolls (a little too greasy), Dim Sum (wife and mother-in-law enjoyed) and shrimp Gyoza which I was the only one that enjoyed it. After the large amount of food we ordered it was about 8,000¥. The server was very friendly, a little drawn out on the introduction when we arrived but overall helpful. I'd go again.

Awesome Chinese food from an authentic Chinese chef! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of food and friendly atmosphere. We had all but given up hope of finding a decent Chinese restaurant out here, but tried this place a try after some friends recommended it. Honestly, it was some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The owner recommends calling ahead during the weekend for reservations, since seating is limited due to the State of Emergency. We went on a Thursday and were the only ones there. They do offer To-Go, so that is another option. Payment is Yen only.

Very authentic Shanghai cuisine. For us Angelinos and New Yorkers, it is odd he won't allow take outs - but it is for a good reason. Mr. Dragon Man, as my child called him, does not use cheap and soggy left over ingredients. When we got there (late), we were so tired, and asked Dragon to bring in whatever (with cold Orion, local Okinawan beer). We are NOT regretting that! Recommendations: Cold Cucumber - spicy Lotus loots (seasonal) Mabotofu (limited) Creamy Shrimp Cashew Chicken Make sure to bring CASH / YEN. Also he had some special ice cream!
