This ramen restaurant has been popular among the locals. Conveniently situated near a major road, it has become a favored destination for truck drivers as well, as evident from the multitude of parked trucks in its spacious lot.
Our visit took place around 1:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon, leading us to encounter a relatively long queue. Fortunately, the turnover of customers was swift, resulting in a wait of approximately 10 minutes. Upon entering, we purchased tickets from a vending machine. The interior of the restaurant reminded me of a local food court.
The menu boasts a traditional Hakata ramen, showcasing a luscious pork broth soup, delicate extra-thin noodles (a defining characteristic of Hakata ramen), scallions, bamboo shoots, and succulent Chashu slices. The broth tends to lean towards a slightly heavier flavor profile, which didn't align with my personal preferences. Furthermore, the generous portion of noodles, albeit a bit overcooked, proved to be so substantial that I couldn't manage to finish them all. In addition to this, I felt that the Chashu could benefit from some refinement and improvement.
