Pizzeria Ricca — Restaurant in Kobe

I've been a resident of Kobe for about 10 years, and this is quite easily the best Italian food I've ever had! Went on a Sunday evening with the Mrs around 630, and although they were full at the time, the server let us know the other group was likely leaving soon. The atmosphere of the shop is quite authentic, paying homage to Italy with the country posters and the presentation of the food is quite beautiful as well. Every dish we had was delicious- the 5 types appetizer set, fresh oysters, Romana pizza (with anchovies), and the carbonara with white asparagus. I especially noticed how the pasta had a nice texture to it, and didn't taste like the usual (cheap) spaghetti noodles found in most supermarkets. According to the chef, he previously worked alongside Italian chefs for 14 years, thus resulting in the outstanding quality and authentic taste.
