Sola Cafe — Restaurant in Kobe

I’ve been meaning to go to this cafe for a while. I felt like the ambiance was really relaxing and calming. I finally went there one weekend. The place is tuck away from the crowd which was exactly why I wanted to go. However, getting there was a bit tricky. I got lost trying to navigate myself. But once you find the right direction it’s really not that far from kobe Nonubiki ropeway station. It was a cafe connected to an outdoor furniture and gardening shop. The counter at the gardening shop takes drink orders and some desserts but it’s not the cafe itself. I think you can have your order there, I saw a couple of customers who used the outdoor seating. Overlooking the nice view of nature. I was so happy to find a chair and table near them. It was so relaxing only to realize that those chairs we were using was for sale. I was embarrassed but the staff were so gracious. I think the manager saw us but he never told us to not to use them. I took my sweet time enjoying the view and fresh air until one customer decided to purchase the chair I was sitting on. 🥰 She was so kind to let me sit there while she was deciding to get them. After having a drink there and reading my book. I decided to go to the main cafe and try their food. I ordered fish and chips and a drink. I would have wanted to order a dessert but I was so full. The fish and chips was filling however and the only criticism I have was the ratio of fish and chips. It had a lot of chips but the fish was not enough although it was good. Also the main cafe was a bit more crowded and the space was smaller. Would I recommend this cafe for what it’s worth I’d say yes! Please check them out!
