楽の蔵 — Restaurant in Koshigaya

It's really hard to get a reservation here as it's such a small place and is already quite popular with locals in the know. We were really lucky and got a table just a couple of days in advance.

The restaurant serves a set course menu, so it's probably not a good place for the fussy eater. There were only a few things that i had to pass over to my wife, who had no complaints about having to eat extra. The food was excellent with a nice balance of vegetables, fish, and meat. Dessert was a plate with 4 different desserts to enjoy. The restaurant prepared slightly smaller versions of the courses for my nine year old daughter. The restaurant serves Coedo Kyara beer, which I was really happy to find.

The atmosphere was nice and quiet, and we enjoyed our meal without being disturbed by other diners. The decor was nice with some interesting art on the walls and cute little mushroom lamps does around the place which my daughter enjoyed counting.

It's really nice to find a place like this in Koshigaya, and I recommend this place wholeheartedly. Hopefully I can go back and update this review with more details...

Amuse 1品目 トマトとバジルのガスパチョ 十文字鶏胸肉のサルサソース さっぱりだけどコクがあって美味しい

Hors 2品目 魚介ととうがんのサラダ とうがんを初めてお洒落でおいしいと思った。素材を活かすのがお上手。

Soupe 3品目 とうもろこしのポタージュ 宮崎のゴールドラッシュという品種でとっても甘くて美味しかった

感じた事を…ままに。

おでかけ、イベントとして 個人店ならではの良さが随所に あります。 なにより、外観と内覧に大手店舗には出せないあったかなリッチ感 が漂います。 以前、10年以上前に訪問してますが雰囲気変わらずのお店でした。

フレンチ大好き者として、、

最初に思うのは 出来たて感がない、です。 ほぼ、自前に用意出来ている 仕上がっている状態を皿に 並べている？と感じるのです。

出来立ての青々しさや 味の粋の良さがない、、 あれ、洋食かな？な味。 ソースも時間の経過が 粋、繊細を過ぎている感。

食材を丁寧に並べることに 本意が向いているような。。

シェフの料理説明は嬉しいですが その時間で主材の出来立てを、に 技術を注いだほうがと感じます

魚の鮮度はうーん、、でした。 鳥肉は時間の経過が顕著 今、ローストしたかな？？牛肉。 どうしても 全般に 出来立て感が？、でした。 オペレーションの速さが。。 不思議でした…。

駐車場なく ワンドリンクを要求され ほぼ、一人5000円のコスパ (薄い紙手拭きは違和感)

当然都合は分かりますが もう少しお客さん本位 料理、味、本位でも良いのでは と感じました。
