Chance upon this Kumamoto ramen restaurant while leaving the Suizenji Park. This is a small restaurant and we were there when it just opened hence managed to get seats. Ordered the original ramen and a curry ramen. The taste is very good. You can taste the garlic taste in the stock and it is not too oily. As usual, the stock is salty to my taste buds. The curry ramen uses the same stock but the curry powder covered the saltiness of the stock. Also ordered the Fried Pig Trotter and Gyoza. The Fried Pig Trotter is fried till collagen is left. Real oily and sticky feeling that melts in your mouth. The Gyoza is the usual standard normal Gyoza you will find anywhere. Service is good and polite. Will definitely come again. Note that they accept cash only, no credit card facility.

In addition to soup ramen, it also serves soya beans, fried dumplings, and a few selections of beers. While the friendly owner and staff do not command English, the store does have English menu to help non-Japanese customers.

The overall experience is super and worth coming in whenever you are visiting the park nearby. One of the best truly authentic pork broth ramen. They are especially proud and passionate about their menu & service even overall cleanliness level( also toilet a 5 star rating! ) .Good quality food, comfortable place and nice people!

Its a quite a small space thats very peaceful and quiet but the food is delish. I got the salty pork broth ramen which was very light and a little peppery. In addition, the meat was extremely tender with a generous portion of ear fungus and chives. The whole ramen portion is perfect. The noodles have very firm and chewy texture. The gyoza was perfectly crispy on oneside and juicy on the inside with a large amount of meat. It is extremely recommended to try out their noodles. The mild spicy ramen had abit of laksa...
