First, the waitress would like you to order drinks once you have settled. We order both fried dumplings (yaki gouza) and soup dumplings (mizu gouza), as well as turnips (daikon), fried chicken (雞) and tofu. Both dumplings taste good, filled with fresh pork and veggies. Very good izakaya with yummy food and a well-trained staff. Come for the 4-6:30 happy hour and get a discount on chuhai, beer and gyoza. Neither steamed nor fried gyoza has garlic but both are very tasty. The dumpling soup was delicious and filled with savory goodies. There is a variety of flavors for the chicken wings which are quite meaty. Also try the boiled beef tongue that comes with daikon and a nice dollop of yuzukosho to spice things up....
