KATSURETSUTEI South Kumamoto — Restaurant in Kumamoto

One of famous restaurants for deep fried pork chop rice とんかつ. We read comments, hardly find a local guest's feedback, however It did not disappoint us. They are professional and offered different parts of pork meat, different pig breeds. We ordered the top quality one. We found it was fried in good timing, kept it's meat juicy and not strong in "piggy" flavor. The special source mixed with grinded seasame was of course enhanced it a great smell in flavour and gave the meat a bit sour taste to reduce its oily flavor. The deep fried prawn was fresh with firm but not tough meat....

Ordered both the pork loin roast and pork tenderloin, and both came out very juicy and tasty with the expected thick cut. I would get the tenderloin in the future as the loin roast are almost 60% fatty. Like other fried pork cutlet restaurant, rice, soup and shaved lettuce are free to refill. 9月の四連休。 夏の猛暑酷暑も台風と伴に走り去り 心地よい秋晴れ(少し薄雲気味)になりました。

出掛ける事が おっくーに感じる事が無くなった訳で 久々に南熊本「勝烈亭」へお邪魔しました。

ココは 複合商業施設と併用しているので 駐車場は広々で利便性は高い。

店内に入ると 「靴箱」に靴を預けて いざ、フロアーへ。

すると 「お席の順番待ち」をされてるお客が数名… (14時近くでも、既に店内は満席状態…さすが「連休モード」)

自分も「エントリー」しなきゃ…と 周辺に「エントリー用紙 と ペン」を探してみたが無い！

んん？と思ったら 目の前に何やら置いてあるモノを発見(写真：参照)

ナルホド！ハイテクでした。

ほどなく入力。 「エントリーシステム」より 「順番号」が印字された紙が出て来て 待合席で待つ事 12.3分…「番号」を呼ばれて、ようやく案内/着座。

本日の”お目当て”は 既に決めて来ていたので、即注文。 『厚揚げロースカツ膳』 それと 「瓶ビール」(これぞ、大人のランチ)

先に 運ばれて来た「瓶ビール」をコップに注ぎ 先ずは一口…「カァー！！」 「今、喉ば蹴たくって行ったバイ」(心の声)

テーブルに備えてある 「髙菜の油炒め」を小皿に取って ”おつまみ”にして、もう一口。(ビール)

さてさて ”大事なお仕事”を…と 小さな「すり鉢」に「いり胡麻」を適量を入れて 「すりこ木」でゴリゴリ開始。

この作業がちょっと楽しい。 心の中で 「美味しくなぁ～れ、美味しくなぁ～れ」とツブやく(笑)。

こんな事をしていたら 「注文品」が着善。

おーっ！コレコレ。 さすが「肉の厚揚げ」(肉の厚み：2cmはあるなー)

先程の「すり鉢」に 好みのソースを注いで！いざ実食。 (ソースは2種類、「和風」「洋風」)

切り揃えられた「カツ」を すり鉢に注いだソースに絡めて 「カラシ」を適量ツケテ、一口。

・粗めの”ころも”がカリカリ。 ・ソースの後に、追っ掛ける様に 香り広がる 胡麻の風味。 ・豚肉の厚みの噛みごたえ と伴に、爆発的なロースの旨味(肉汁) ・そして「カラシ」が最後に鼻を抜けて、心地良くくすぐる。

これよりは 「ご飯」と「汁物」と「豚カツ」の 三重奏が テンポ良く...
