Fantastic hot dog spot. Owner spent a number of years in New York. Loved the food. Came back to Japan and couldn't find any of the food he fell in love with, the result is One Five Dog. 1-5 is "ichi - go." Why? Becuase they also serve candy strawberries (ame Ichigo).
The sausages are local sources pork sausage from a regional farmer.
Lots choices for dogs and fries. Chili, cheese, pulled pork, plenty of toppings.
We have been a few times so far and love chatting with the owner of he has time. Really friendly. So if you want to learn more about this place when you come, please ask him.
They also have pulled pork meals but I haven't tried them yet. Only as a topping on my dog.
I got the pulled pork mega dog the first time. And it's a freaking meal. It's so much food. It was good, but the second visit I got the BLT Dog. I don't event like normals BLT sandwichs but this was one of the best best hotdogs I ever had. So good. I'm pretty impartial to tomatoes, but it was just the right amount and complimented...

It hit the spot and was one of the best meals I ate this past week! I bought the meal set that came with the fries and drink. The fries were also really good. Hot, fresh, and tasty. Even though I came a half hour before closing, the staff was kind and took care when preparing my meal. Since I had ordered to-go they packed the drink in a nice cup with a secure lid and in a plastic bag. The food container was also good. No spills on the bus, thankfully! I've been to the restaurant before and they've recently changed the layout and added new items to the menu. It looks really nice inside so maybe next time...
Read moreThe master of this shop has spent many years in the U.S. and knows much about what Americans like to eat, especially those on the East Coast. He knows well how to make hot dogs, sandwiches and the Middle East’s quick meals. The chili cheese dogs are awesome as are the dishes he’s created from the food trucks selling Middle Eastern food—both pulled pork (beware! not halal) and chicken. There is also a taco dish that I haven’t tried yet. Food can be made for take out; I recommend calling ahead for availability and a reservation (things can sell out!) I highly...
