A friend and I visited from Tokyo. We purposely came for the fondue set but unfortunately it wasn't available (only available during certain periods)

Small & modern, yet traditionally Japanese cafe tucked away in the back steets of Kusatsu City in Shiga Ken serving one of the best Matcha/Green Tea Shaved Ice I've ever tasted! 草津へ出張の際に、 Instagramでランチを探していると 目に飛び込んできたのが 『抹茶庵けんしん』さん✨ @machaankenshin

有名宇治茶・霧香は 抹茶界の魚沼産コシヒカリと呼ばれるそうで、 そんな霧香をたくさん使った本格派カフェです。

カウンター席は中庭を眺められて、 そこにはカエデの木と手水鉢が置かれています🍁

2人でお越しになっている 女性のお客さまが多かったのですが、 美しい中庭のおかげもあり、 一人でも居心地のいいお時間を過ごせました🌿
