The pastry is great, i bought some cakes and bread. The service in lupicia pastries was great Really different with lupicia restaurant,
Me and my bf plan to book for valentine dinner , we went there 2 days before to check the menu, which is normal for customer to check before they book, We went in to the main door, and theres a girl with the suite ( i believe maybe shes kind like SPV or manager restaurant) And talk to us little bit rude and not friendly, she is really in rush to push us wanna make reservations or not, while we still looking for the menu. She keep saying thing with eyes look us up and down.
We come with normal casual outfit ( we are in winter, its normal we use huge winter jacket) and we are skiier also.
Shes kind like doesnt want take so much time to explain us about the menu and provide us some good service, she just look in rush and talk really simple with no manner as someone who work in hospitality.
In the end with all her attitude we decide not to reserve because we dont want to ruin our valentine dinner with bad service.
Honestly i never try the food. From the review it looks like people love it. But for my personal opinion. I prefer dinner somewhere else than have to receive bad behaviour from them. First impressions is important. You should to treat people equally.
Sorry...

The meat is tender and melts in your mouth (we had both the beef and pork stew), the sushi is fresh and soft, the desserts are perfectly sized and not too sweet, the salad (and I'm not a vegetable person) is rich and full of flavor. It's really about quality here and the quantity is just right in my mind. It's not cheap but Japanese dining in general isn't cheap and for a little more compared to other restaurants you get better food and nicer ambiance. It's totally worth it. The service was so lovely too. Very sweet French girl and local staff were...
Read moreBest place near Hirafu base if you will wanna be to have a really nice dinner.
Location is a little out if you don’t drive but managed to get the hotel to make reservations and they sent transport to pick us and back.
Food was fabulous. The beef in red wine was flavorful and moist. So is the lamb chops, a little gamey but not overpowering. The pork confit was super moist.
Desserts were irresistible. The ice cream selection was interesting so we ordered one after another.
Must try the pale ale. They have interesting flavors. Nice!
Overall dining experience was excellent as there was even live music towards the later part of the night. Will visit again if I’m back at Niseko.
Do make reservations as they can be full during...
