Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood near the Shugaku-in Imperial Villa. Roku is a cafe that seemed to be geared towards adventurers and travellers : there are some outdoor gear being sold in one part of the cafe and you can find reading materials about hiking, travel and cycling.
As it has a pretty small storefront. There is limited space for parking of bicycles (which they allow in front of their cafe) Once inside, you find a rustic, log cabin like interiors with a bar counter where food and coffee's prepared manned by a lady and man.

We were looking for a place for lunch after visiting the near-by shugakuin villa and found this great little gem. The lunch option we picked presented a variety of small-portion, yet satisfying seasonal dishes on a plate. The soy ice cream and coffee we had afterwards were also incredibly delicious.
