One of the best places we've been to in Japan. The icecreams were very good (especially the cacao and chesnust ones was delicious) and with choices of very Japanese taste. I visited here during my stay in Kyoto, and highly recommend everyone to come try the products! The owner has been working hard to continue his family's business that opened in 1926. He is very friendly and took the time to explain how he uses a variety of beans and nuts to create unique traditional and new, innovate sweets and syrups. Lovely little shop that sells plant-based ice-cream as well as sweets and some beverages. We tried different sorts of ice-cream (some based on beans, some based on nuts) and liked all of them! Chocolate in particular was very delicious. We also had some bean tea which I can strongly recommend. The owner was so kind and told us much about the concept of the shop and the seeds.
