We've been to many yakiniku restaurants before, and I didn't expect it to be any different. BUT it indeed was something extraordinary! Mostly because of the bbq grille, it's like an old-fashioned version, idk, heavy and greasy, and when you fry some fatty piece of meat, it makes a real fire show with clouds of smoke. I was shocked and fascinated at the same time!! There were other people around, and they also were cooking the meat, so the amount of smoke from burnt fat was excessive, like a thick fog. I have to admit this didn't let me fully enjoy the food. I was overwhelmed by the strong smell. It was difficult to breathe, and my contact lenses went bad because of smoke. My eyes were dry and hurt, my face turned red like a tomato, hehe. It was really hot, especially after a glass of wine. I wish we ordered beer with ice instead :D Later, we asked to bring a drink with ice to cool down a bit. But the sevice is brilliant, the girl, who was serving the food, was so nice and polite, she spoke a really good English. I absolutely loved the salad, so I ordered another bowl :D The meat was also good. Overall, it's a new and exciting experience for us, and we went home happy...

Read moreWhat an excellent Korean place tucked away on the street. Limited seating so arrive there early. The food is delicious. The Korean Makgeoli (hope I've got the name right) is excellent. The Wagyu was great too. The price is quite reasonable. Had a 4/5 on the atmosphere since, if there are a lot of customers the place has smoke in the room due to customers cooking their food.
