Indian Curry Hot Masala — Restaurant in Marugame

This restaurant is next to the JR Marugame Station and we were looking forward to trying Indian food here. The minute we walked in, I noticed that there were no other customers inside. This was on a Saturday at 6:00 PM. We were not greeted and pointed to a table by the cook for my son and I to sit at. The cook was wearing a dirty yellow shirt that looked like it had not been cleaned in a couple of weeks and was standing in the dining area watching TV with two other people that are somehow related to the business. We should’ve got up and walked out. When I called over to him, he looked visibly annoyed while taking our order and returned with our water by slamming it down on the table. The food was not good, the service was terrible and it cost 2,950 yen for one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. How this place is still in business is beyond me. There are other options in the area and I would highly recommend...

They throw the food on your table. And bad service.

They don't like when I've started talking with them in English. Bcs when I spoke in Japanese they didn't understand me. "Why do you speak in English "

But when I speak in Japanese "Nani" I won't back...

二度と行きません。店員さんの対応が酷かったです。 ・入店後メニューを決めて呼ぶまで水もでてこない。店員さんがスマホいじってる ・提供後、店員さんがスマホでドラマ？を見ている。音も垂れ流し ・会計の際、釣り銭が足りないから崩して来いと言われた。開店直後入店したので、店側の準備不足としか思えない。途中で不足したならともかく… ・店員さんの服が洗ってないのかというくらい汚い。気持ち悪くて少し残してしまいました…

ビリヤニを注文しました。味は不味くはないです。コンビニ弁当くらいの美味しさ。でも成城石井で買う方が美味しいです。 提供は10分くらい。コンロは使わずレンチンでした。 メニュー写真にあった野菜は一切のっていませんでした。

こんな所に1000円も支払うのは勿体なかった。もっとやる気があって、質の高いものを提供している飲食店さんがあるのに…。そういう所にお金を落としたかった...
