カフェと御宿まほろば — Restaurant in Matsuyama

I had an incredible stay here as a pilgrim and I thoroughly recommend staying to anyone who has the chance.

The couple who run the guest house/ cafe should receive awards for their kindness and hospitality. Unlike other places you may stay, you can choose your meal for dinner, so if you are particular about what you eat this would be a good option for you. Not to mention the amazing quality of the food once you get it.

The atmosphere is homely and enjoyable, there was another Henro staying and the whole group had a lovely conversation over dinner. It is very easy-going and great after a long day of walking.

The quality of the house in particular is of exceptional quality, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and feel modern. The design of the house very much follows this theme and has great amenities, there is also a combination washer and drying machine.

大将、女将さん、お世話になりました。 明るく気さくな女将さんと筋トレにハマって趣味人でクールなのに、時々結構な勢いで話し始めるどこか愛嬌のある大将に暖かく接してもらって、楽しいひと時を過ごせました。

趣味人で色々と新しいことに挑戦続ける大将の姿に、僕もこうありたいと感じました。巻き込まれましたと言いつつ支えている女将さんは、女房の鑑だと思いました。
