う越勝 — Restaurant in Matsuyama

When we entered we were a bit apprehensive as there were few other customers but we needn't have worried as the food was both generous and delicious.

Fish was fresh, of good quality and very generous in terms of portion. It is not the fancy refined sushi you find in Ginza but it is not pretending to be either. It is a simple, honest and tasty sushi course.

The tempura add on was also a generous portion that we didn't expect for the price. The taste for the tempura is quite average, but the portion is huge for what you pay.
