MOS BURGER Utsumi Shop — Restaurant in Minamichita

Quite possibly the worst MOS Burger in Japan. We waited about 15 minutes until they took our order, even though we were first in line. Then it took them another 5 minutes to serve drinks and another 10 minutes until food came. This timing would be a bit surprising in any "fast food" restaurant anywhere, but in Japan, where even normal restaurants would be considered super fast by global standards, it is quite outrageous.

Unfortunately they messed up the food order - they put mustard and ketchup on the hot dogs, even though we said three times the kids will only eat it without. They took them back and after another 5 minutes they came out to say that they don't have any more hot dogs (?!). All four employees seemed like they walked in from the street and were trying to improvise something in an unknown kitchen, stepping on each other's toes and painfully struggling to put an order together. The incompetence unfortunately extended outside of the kitchen as well - napkin holders and water jugs were empty, and the tray return area was over-filling to the point where we had to leave our trash on the table.
