Tubes — Restaurant in Misawa

Delicious! My teriyaki burger was magically tasty and tickled my taste buds with every appetite-tantalizing bite. I'm thinking, no way my burger will look like the menu picture - it did! McDs and BK eat your hearts out! The fries were crisp and salted just right. My buddy had the chicken katsu - he loved it! I even stole two bites when he wasn't looking 😁

We sat at the bar in comfortable chairs with great music coming from speakers mounted above the bar shelves - not too loud or intrusive. The bartop was just the right height for eating comfort.

The Orion beer was fabulous, and not just just because I was a career P-3 Orion AMS (VP-8, 6, 11, and 4) and my buddy an FE!

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the tables regularly occupied throughout our lunch. They were careful to make sure we understood the bill and made paying easy. Arrived at the restaurant at 8:10 PM with a group of 6. They were unable to seat us together so we were seated 4 at a table and 2 at another. We hit the call button at the same time as the people in the group of 4 their order was taken at 8:15. The 2 of us hit the call button 2 more times and talked to the gentleman at the bar who said our order would be taken soon. By 8:30 the table of 4 in our group had already gotten their appetizers and we again hit the call button but we're ignored by the waitress. At 8:45 we thought we were going to get our order taken but we're again walked right past by the waitress who went to a group of 7 behind us who most of them arrived after us to take their order. At that point we got up to say goodbye to the rest of our group and finally seeing this the man at the bar rushed over to get our order but we already made up our minds to leave from the unbelievably poor service waiting almost 40 min while being constantly ignored.

Food was okay, service was slow even though it was almost empty when we got there. The hamburger we got tasted like oniony meatloaf and the sauce we anticipated to be savoury was sweet, it wasnt bad but not what was expected at all. We also got the hawaiian chicken combo, its just fried chicken, rice and a SMALL salad. Kind of pricey for pretty basic food. Their kids menu options are very limited with only 3 choices. Not bad but not very...
