Bistro Ra Porto Ami — Restaurant in Mito

This restaurant is a true hidden treasure. Recently they also started opening for Sunday lunch so I went. The place is a few minutes away from the major road in a quiet are. Please use car navigation to find it easily if going for the first time. Both the restaurant ambience and food quality is great. Each dish was very well presented and the taste was wonderful. We tried fish, pork and steak. All meals were visually very appealing, colorful and had light and exquisite taste as it was a summer season menu. The restaurant staff are all friendly and polite and take good care explaining the menu. Finally the desert cakes and ice cream were a perfect end to a satisfying meal. Delicate taste and not too sweet, just perfect. In conclusion , this restaurant has it all - great chef, wonderfully prepared and tasty meals, polite floor staff and a quality interior atmosphere. In cities such as Tokyo this kind of restaurant would easily charge double the price so the cost performance is also great. One more very impressive point is that the restaurant also provides training and employment opportunities for young people with special needs. It is wonderful and rare to find such a place. 本日は、水戸市住吉町にある【ビストロ・ラ・ポルト・アミ】へ。 場所は、オートバックスとかの裏のほうの住宅街あたりにあります。 予約は前日。 開店同時の午前11時30分。 平日の開店同時に行くと、同じタイミングで初老の夫婦と、50代の女の人達。 店内は、テーブル席メイン。 店内、従業員は多め。 このお店は、社会福祉法人茨城補成会が経営する就労移行支援事業所で、障害をもつ方の「はたらく」を支援し、人生の扉を開くお手伝いをするレストランということみたいです。 メニューは、値段帯で大きくわけて三種類。 月替わりでメニューは変わるみたいです。 それぞれ、メインを魚料理か肉料理か選べて、ご飯かパンか選びます。 更にデザートも三種類から選びます。 値段帯により、メイン料理の質など違うみたいです。 頼んだのは、2310円。 魚料理、肉料理それぞれを選びました 3190円の値段帯のがおすすめなのかなと感じました。 ...
