teppanyaki oono — Restaurant in Miyazaki

I saw consistent good ratings on google review and I thought it’s definitely a must try. I had problem trying to make a reservation and decided to drop the owner a message on their IG page to secure two seats.

Lunch was intimate and comfortable. Chef was very polite and friendly. With our limited Japanese, we wished we could converse more with the Chef. And Chef tried his best to speak to us in English, we truly appreciate his gesture.

Every course was delightful. Seeing chef curating our dishes in front of us makes us appreciate local wholesome produce even more. Every dish was delicate and tasty, making us looking forward to the next course. I’m so blown away with the quality of vegetables & rice used. The Miyazaki beef was incredibly executed, well done chef.
