The food and the service were great, as were the prices. The ladies look after the customer service side of things, including the crowd management. If you turn up and it's busy then you can expect to be bustled outside (a bit unceremoniously) so you can add your name to the waiting list. Personally I think this shows some of the great character of the staff. It's neither offensive nor aimed at tourists. Others (locals) turned up after us and we're treated in exactly the same way but without the language issue. The restaurant is right across the road from Miyazu station. Service was quick and there was a great buzz in the place as the locals went about their evening"s entertainment and enjoyment. We went back for a second night and were recognised and welcomed. The menu is attached. Run it through Google...

As the place got less busier, she started being nicer but honestly she should...

Hence, you need to be able to use google translate or have pictures to show what you want to order. We had the grilled beef with onions, crab soup, clams and squid. All were amazing with rice. Their sets were value for money too. The premises is small with wooden odd-shaped tables so that’s not very conducive for lingering. But it’s definitely a place to go have a good meal. Just opposite Miyazu...
