YAKITORI 千鳥 — Restaurant in Miyazu

The smell of yakitori and charcoal can be smelt from across the street! It led my nose straight to this Yakitori place. Reservations are recommended as the place isn't that big.

Chicken parts are fresh and top quality. Using Bincho charcoal, the yakitori is grilled to perfection - crispy on the outside and moist inside! Server is friendly and made it easy to make an order as she speaks english!

Had the special chicken leg which is a Christmas special and I was in for a gastronomic shock! It's the best chicken leg I ever had! Well marinated, crispy skin and juicy meat. Will never forget this taste for a long time.

Best Yakitori in town! Small cafe run by the cutest couple. The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures of it. The meat is soft and succulent and definitely not overcooked. My favourites were the yuzu and pepper, garlic (feel good) and the leek yakitori. Even the green tea over rice...
