A pretty spectacular cafe for rundown old Mobara. Its the sort of place you'd expect to find in the swankier areas of Seoul or Tokyo or even London with it semi-retro interior and high ceilings. Mobara seems blessed with good coffee shops and Second is no exception. Top quality cakes, sanwiches and coffee and even free parking. The only minus is the seating, which is uncomfortable enough to make you want to limit your stay. And the motto is classic Japanglish: Your Second Best!

2023.4.14訪問 鶏ごぼう味噌風味パスタ＋カプチーノを注文 パスタは、やや濃い目でやや甘めの味付けです。 パスタの種類は、前回訪問時と同じ種類のみです。 今回は、手洗い場に紙コップはありませんでした。 2023.1.27 移転後初訪問 ランチに、 明太子パスタ＋カフェラテ注文。リーズナブルです。 平日早めの時間のため、ゆっくり出来ました。 パスタは、普通に美味しく、カフェラテは大きなマグカップで〜美味しいです。 食後は、セルフで専用棚に食器を返却します。 店内は、バリアフリー。 テーブル席、カウンター席あり。(以前の座席のスタイルが結構好きでしたが、、) トイレは、うがい用の紙コップやペーパータオルがあり、清潔感があります。 座席にも手指用除菌スプレーが置いてあり、コロナ対策をきちんとされています。 なんと言っても、朝10時〜の営業は、助かります。 テイクアウトで、プレーンのプリン・カヌレ・ロールケーキを購入しました。 お店では、ブリンはコーヒー風味が人気の様です。 ロールケーキの中にコーヒーゼリーが入っているのが、珍しく感じました。 カヌレは、全体的に固い感じで残念でした。

自宅から遠い割にはかなりの頻度で食べに行っています。 スープカレーやトマトカレー、煮込みハンバーグなどセットにするとかなり多めの飲み物とこれまた大きめのお皿に盛られたサラダがつきます。1200円ちょっとなのでコスパ良しです❗よく売り切れになっていていますが他にもソーキソバなどがあります。 サラダのドレッシングは手作りです。日替わりだと思うのですがマンゴーオレンジ、ぶどう、レモンなどから選ぶことができます。なかなかないのですがタイミングが合えば購入もできます(要相談) ショーケースに並べられたプリンやシフォンケーキ、サンドイッチなども美味しそうですが食事でいつもお腹が一杯になるので残念ながらまだ一度も食べていません。 コロナ対策として店内入り口には消毒と自動体温計測機も設置されています。 駐車場は歩いて20秒ほど離れた所にあります。赤茶色のワゴン車が目印です。 2022年9月現在、ワゴン車、なくなっていました。 料理のお値段も他と同じように少し上昇していました。 仕方ないかなと思います
