This lovely coffee shop was bright, airy, and full of kind people making great coffee. I ordered a pour-over that was expertly delivered and one piece of bread that was just the right amount of sweet and filling. They were roasting beans on site which delightfully filled the cafe with the perfect aroma, scintillating the taste buds and adding to the enjoyment of waiting for the perfect cup to arrive. This cafe is a dream come true! Sitting here on a rainy day listening to peaceful music and sipping on one of the best soy lattes I have ever had fills my heart with such joy! The place is owned by an energetic husband and wife who seem to take great pride in what they do. There is a great selection of coffee that they roast in house, brewing supplies, and other neat things. If you are in Morioka you have to give them a try, I promise you will be back...

As expected, the coffee here is excellent, with plenty of great options to choose from. It’s said to be the best coffee shop in town, and I’d have to agree! I had two cups of pour-over light roast Ethiopia—one natural, one washed—both slightly different but equally fantastic. The cheesecake and chocolate cake were also delicious.
