Takuboku Newlyweds house — Attraction in Morioka

This was the house of one of Morioka's great poets, Takuboku. For me the best part about the house was its peaceful atmosphere. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and when I visited, there were not many people. So I felt I could have the house all to myself. 石川啄木ゆかりの施設です。盛岡駅からバスで行くと便利ですが時間に余裕があれば十分徒歩圏でもあるので北上川を旭橋を越えて渡り、途中路にあるイーハトーブ材木町で岩手が生んだ童話作家=宮沢賢治先生のモニュメントの数々、先生ゆかりの光源社等も訪れ趣ある中庭や展示を楽しみながらおいしいコーヒーを喫することもお勧めします。石川啄木の新婚の家は素朴で当時の庶民の生活をこちらで十分伺うことが出来ます😁。家の中の展示には啄木の人柄を感じさせるものも見受けられます。私の場合、たまたま真冬の雪の日にこの家を見学に訪れました。料金が無料なのはよかったのですが、家の中が冷たく底冷えしており畳の床が凄く冷たく長く滞在することが出来ませんでした。あー啄木の昔、盛岡な冬は寒くて大変だったんだなぁと妙に感嘆してしまいました。市内に高松の池という桜の名所がありますがちょっと前の時代まで冬はここに厚い氷が張りスケートも出来たそうです。そんな寒さを石川啄木はこの家で新妻と感じていたかと思うとある種、感慨深いものがあります。この家の北側には秀峰岩手山がそびえています。いまは、マンションがたち並びここから岩手山は見えませんが、この家から、故郷の誇りである岩手山を望む啄木の姿に思いを馳せました。施設の目の前は小さなパーキングがありますがすぐ満杯になります。しかし周辺にいくつもコインパーキングがありますので自動車で来る場合でも駐車場...
