塩釜 — Restaurant in Muroran

If you are a lover of unagi, you shouldn't miss this restaurant. We went for lunch. The unagi was plump, moist, and perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was served with a divine clear soup and pickles - perfection! This 90 year old establishment has the right combination of old-world ambience and a clean, well-maintained, tidy interior. There's seating with chairs and tables as well as tatami seating. Excellent service topped off this wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended. A note on Google Map's location. 高齢のおばさん店員の対応が不快でした。 メニュー表に写真がなく、以下その店員とのやり取りです。 私「天ぷら定食は、どんな種類の天ぷらがありますか？」 店員「天ぷら定食なので天ぷらですよ」 私「たとえばどんな種類の天ぷらがありますか？」 店員「色々ありますよ。」 私「色々とは、たとえばどんなのがあるんですか？」 店員「イカとか野菜、漬物もありますし、かつ定食は豚カツですよ。」 私「天ぷら定食の天ぷらはイカのみなんですか？」 店員「今の説明でわからない？」 私「はい、天ぷら定食の天ぷらがどんな種類があるのか知りたいのです。」 店員「あのね、その日の仕入れによって、魚があったりと色々違うんですよ。」 私「今日は何があるのですか？」 店員「ちょっと待ってて、今ね調べてくるから。」 わからないなら最初から調べてくればいいのに…。 しかも周りの客に聞こえる位大きく、馬鹿にしたような言い方で…。 その後もお冷を頼み、私がコップを手渡そうとすると上記店員が「テーブルに置いて！」 とぶっきらぼうに言ってきて何なんだ？と思ってしまいました。 料理自体の味は可もなく不可もなくでしたが、不快な思いをしたので二...
