NGS COFFEE — Restaurant in Nagasaki

Love the concept here!! They named their shops after it’s city airport. So, here is NGS (Nagasaki), others are FUK (Fukuoka), OSA (Osaka) and HIJ (Hiroshima).

Only 3-min walk from JR Nagasaki station. It opens from 8am which is very helpful for tourists like us who want to get good coffee then travel around early.

They offer various drink and dessert menus. For coffee, you can select light or dark roast beans and how to make it, drip or french press (550jpy). They also have Morning coffee for only 200jpy from 8-10am. For dessert, I tried the very good-looking Custard pudding and it’s certainly as good as it looks! (Also, so tempted to get ice-cream topping for only 100jpy plus but didn’t)

Staff speak English too. He even suggested a lunch place for us. Very nice of him :-) Totally recommend to every one visiting...

This cute cafe was located in front of Nagasaki Station. The coffee was expertly brewed, offering a rich and robust taste which made the perfect match with two sweets that I tried there. The 1st one was called Candle Cake, which was a mini cake adorned with a fresh strawberry and cream. It’s moist and creamy yet the strawberry added a burst of sweet refreshing flavor. We were here for a simple cup of coffee and some sweetness. This small shop roasting beans by the owner himself so you can also find beans here. Really like the theme for this shop, it’s like a stop during traveling and the stickers are cute for sale. The seasonal cake also taste pretty good, chocolate cake is moist and cream is not so sweet. The atmosphere is pretty cozy and I can feel that the owner is having great conversation and connection with those frequently comers. Lovely place with good coffee...
