Great coffee and open early (for Japan)

Very friendly welcome and very modern. They had facilities to charge your phone, fill your water bottle and you could also pay by card. All of these comforts for a small village was nice.

The coffee was smooth and tasty, I had a cappuccino with normal milk. We also bought a matcha latte with almond milk which was perfect if you’re vegan.

We also bought 2 cookies, and a galette. The cookies were nice and went great with the hot drinks. The galette was also very large and filling. Full of veggies, bacon, mushrooms and an egg. They had to leave the store and go somewhere close with the cooking facilities, but it was cooked perfectly so clearly had the chefs full attention.

We bought 2 ice creams (soft serve) with nuts and chocolate. It was very yummy! Could tell it was made from good quality milk. What was outstanding was the service! The gentleman there was so helpful and advised us on train timings and later helped us book cabs. What was outstanding was my daughter didn’t realise she had left her wallet in the shop. When the cab came to get us, the taxi driver surprised us by passing us the wallet. We went get the chance to thank him. So I hope he gets the chance to read this message....

This is an awesome little coffee shop - perfect place to get a coffee to energise for the walk to Magome. They were open early, before everyone else so they are very handy. The staff were really friendly and aimed to please, the coffee strong and delicious, and there are a lot of features to support the visitor, such as a mobile phone charging station and lots of books and things to read about the history and activities in the area.
