Cash only here so make sure you have some because it’s lovely and the price is reasonable for the quality. The family who run this place are friendly and kind, making a relaxed atmosphere in their cozy, clean and homely setting.

The food is delicious. We ordered the chefs salad of the day, focaccia, bolognese, carbonara, schnitzel. We ordered the schnitzel, carbonara and focaccia for a 2nd round because we loved them so much. All-in the bill came to less than ¥12,000 for that feast and a round of drinks for all plus a very pleasant bottle of Spanish red wine for a family of 4.

After eating lots of Okinawan restaurant and hotel food for a few days we really fancied something European and this really hit the spot. Give it a try, it’s slightly tucked away down a drive, there is a Japanese sign by the street so it might help tourists unfamiliar with the area to have an Italian flag by the sign. I’m not sure if any English is spoken there and the menu is in Japanese but don’t let that put you off. For travellers who are looking to experience Italian cuisine in Okonawa, this is definitely worth a shot. The restaurant was full when we went on a weekday afternoon and many others had reservations made prior. Fortunately they were still able to accommodate the two of us. We waited in the car park in our cars.

The food was made well and the wait time is modest given there is only one chef. Additionally, there were free side dishes that made it easier to wait. The corn soup was amazing...

The interior is so nice and cozy. We sat by the window. The garden view is very cute, peaceful and relaxing. We had the bolognese pasta and seafood paella. It was super delicious!
