Cash only here so make sure you have some because it’s lovely and the price is reasonable for the quality. The family who run this place are friendly and kind, making a relaxed atmosphere in their cozy, clean and homely setting.
The food is delicious. We ordered the chefs salad of the day, focaccia, bolognese, carbonara, schnitzel. We ordered the schnitzel, carbonara and focaccia for a 2nd round because we loved them so much. All-in the bill came to less than ¥12,000 for that feast and a round of drinks for all plus a very pleasant bottle of Spanish red wine for a family of 4.
After eating lots of Okinawan restaurant and hotel food for a few days we really fancied something European and this really hit the spot. Give it a try, it’s slightly tucked away down a drive, there is a Japanese sign by the street so it might help tourists unfamiliar with the area to have an Italian flag by the sign.
