玉家 Jr. — Restaurant in Nago

If you like Okinawa Soba noodles, don't pass this place up. It's very popular with locals and tourists, alike so, arrive early or, it may get crowded. There are several types of Soba available and, orders are placed by selecting and paying via a ticket vending machine. We arrived shortly before noon for lunch and had the Soki Soba (large orders) which were plentiful and reasonably priced. Meals are delicious and service was expedient. Had the Okinawa Soba and 1 pigs foot on the side. medium size. You have to pay in a machine and get a ticket. You can pick between 2 types of noodles thin or flat. It was filling and tasted good. The soup was very good but not super strong. The pigs foot was very good and I really liked their technique of making it. The servers were courteous and the restaurant was clean. I enjoyed eating here as it was late in the afternoon and most Soba places sell out around or after lunchtime. It’s a good local spot but you get some tourists too. 【のぶたと南の島生活inやんばるを食べ尽くせ❗460】 名護支店には赴任してから1年と1ヵ月が経過し2回目のGW最終日。例年通りGW半ばには梅雨入りしたんじゃないかと思うような天候が続いてますけど、気象庁からは宣言はないまま、夜半の豪雨も朝には止んで晴れ間が出てきました。少し遅くなったけど朝ジョグで市内は這いずり周り、10:30丁度に宇茂佐の森の玉家に到着しました。 ここは午前10時半オープンなので、ブランチがてら朝そば（沖縄そば）です。 昔から、なぜ◯◯支店と言わずジュニアなのか不思議に思っていますが、南風原、豊崎などにある「玉家」の支店になります。 nobutaは、亀浜製麺が結構好きなので、出汁が濃厚で、お肉の煮込み具合も上等な「玉家」のファンですけど、名護店は未訪問でした。 だって、折角の名護民なんですから、三角屋製麺の沖縄そば屋を攻め倒してから食べるべきですもんね（笑） そんな名護の沖縄そば屋もほぼ攻め倒した感じなので、ここらで亀浜製麺に浮気しちゃいましょう。

店内に入って机に並んでいる麺の種類を見て、この支店では、亀浜製麺以外にも三角屋製麺の平麺が選べるということが分かったのですが、まぁ〜亀浜製麺で ミックスそば（大）850円 を食べることにしました。 名護に転勤する1年ほど前に「玉家」で思い出食いしましたし、そもそも昔から亀浜製麺を好んで食べているので、食べる前から食感は分かってるんです。 ここのミックスも三枚肉、ソーキ共に煮込み具合がGOOD‼️ やっぱり安定した美味しさですね。 これで、残り11ヶ月は、三角屋製麺に没頭できそうです（笑） 美味しかったです。...
