Daizaemon — Restaurant in Nago

I didn’t make reservation, but luckily we got the tatami in the corner, which is really nice and comfortable for us with a toddler. (No high chair if you sit at the tables)

The sashimi was amazing. Super delicious and affordable. The other food are nice too.

Atmosphere at tatami is really good, giving an exotic Japanese vibe. Staff are polite and friendly. They can communicate in basic English. If you have a chance, you should try eating at the tatami. But the restaurant is quite full. No guarantee of that. I’m not sure if you can make reservations or not, we didn’t. Maybe you can try asking your hotel reception / Japanese local friends to help call the restaurant to make reservations.

Lovely and comfy place. The wooden house is filled with impressive wooden furniture and gives great atmosphere. The food was great too. Fresh, perfect sized, divers and great value for the money. 久しぶりに食したが、内容にとてもがっかりでした。殆どのスペースがマグロ系で占められており(似たようなネタが多数)、ウニやシャコ貝が入っていなかった。昔のお寿司の内容は、価格共に良くて満足だったが、数年前から観光向けにシフトされており(特にインバウンド)、ネタのレベルは落として値段は高め...。他店だと同じような内容がもう少し安くなります。インバウンドに力は入れているが、キャッシュオンリー。店内は天井が高く広く感じとても綺麗です。沖縄特有のお魚や貝を使ったお寿司、単品料理が食べたい方には"奴寿司"をお勧めします。客層は地元の方が殆どです。

I'm sorry to say this but I'm not happy with the level of Sushi topping.Almost Sushi topping was lean tuna(or some of them was almost same )even no sea urchin roes or a tridacna. It was satisfied with both prices and meals when I was here before. It's changed for visitors(especially for foreign visitors),getting lower level of the Sushi topping but the price's getting little bit high...You can have the Similar meals at a reasonable price in other Sushi restaurant. Not accept any credit cards even they focus on foreign visitors. The interior,has a high ceilling and japanes style Tatami room as well. If you'd like to eat Sushi using local fishes and shellfish,I recommend the local restaurant called "奴寿司" rather than hit the...
