Blue Seal — Restaurant in Nago

I had tried a tub of chocolate Blue Seal from a konbini and was not too impressed; my Okinawan friends said that I had to go to get a scoop to be sure. I had multiple scoops and they were all amazing!

Great flavour, not too sweet, great texture, no ice crystals; basically on par with high quality gelateria in Venice (yes I know this is extreme praise, but I'm in love). This restaurant had about 30 flavours excluding the soft serve, and also sells crepes and donuts.

I saw a model of this blueberry pie after my initial 3 scoops, and it piqued my interest. Not only did the food look exactly like the model, it tastes as delicious as it looks! I was so impressed I wrote this review from 10,000km away 😭

We love Blue Seal Ice Cream!! This shop is really big and serves quite a bit of other kinds of food as well. This place has a whole pasta menu as well (which we didn’t try), we stick with ice cream. My wife’s favorite is the Benimo and Salted Caramel soft serve. My daughter and I love the mint chocolate chip, but honestly you can’t go wrong here.
