Strange ramen place. Only cons: 1. Prices are high for the quality of food which was given: 5 gyoza 200 yen which looked really small and attached to each other. Ramen portion is small without any additional ingredients apart from pork and egg... really it's only soup, pork piece and sliced egg. You can get a lot better ramen for the price of 850 yen. 3. Small portion of ramen. 4. I requested the thickest noodle of all possible, but compared, for example, with hokkaido ramen, it was a thin one. I am scaried to imagine what is thin noodle would look like if i chose it. I would not recommend this ramen place just because what is given to you there for amount of money you pay is not at all worth it. 3 of 5. 6. Menu is small, you actually can choose the ramen name, but there is no description whether it's miso or soy, etc. Just a ramen dish name. 8 or so ramen dishes are given to choose from. The main thought behind that criticism is that is chose this ramen on the basis of views and rating 4.2, thinking that i will taste something which uniqe in okinawa. But in reality it's somewhat ramen place not even compared to hokkaido ramens. I hope there are a lt better ramen places on okinawa where...
Read moreMy friend and I stopped in after exploring the Nago Castle park. We had worked up an appetite and both love ramen so we were very excited. There were a lot of good reviews and this place definitely did not disappoint! We really loved this place because you could customize your ramen to your specific liking. You could choose the broth, thickness and firmness of the noodles, as well as the spice level. There were choices if extra green onions, meat, noodles and egg. The staff were friendly and helped us choose our spice level which was from 1-20! The food came out very quickly and everything we ate was delicious! The gyozas were small but tasty. The restaurant is very clean with a decent size seating area. There was a parking lot which always makes it easier. I am pretty sure the ticket machine you ordered at did take cash and card. We will definitely return when we are in the...
Read moreFirst, let the service staff know how many people to seat. Ordering and payment is done through a machine as you wait for your seat to be readied. Pay through the machine and collect your order coupons. The service staff will pass you a pen to indicate your preferences for your ramen. You can select thin/thick noodles, hardness of noodles, thickness of soup, green onions or none, which ingredients you’d like to omit, etc. Add-ons are available through the ordering machine.
Once you are seated, the service staff will collect your ordering coupons and serve you your ramen accordingly. Service was quick and efficient.
I loved the negigoma ramen with thin noodles. All ramen are made using tonkotsu broth and the branch is said to be from Fukuoka.
