Chandni — Restaurant in Nagoya

Found this little gem just a couple of blocks south-west of Kanayama Station. Lunch offers amazing value with big portions as well. I have been there 3 times and will definitely be a regular. The first time, I had the Butter Chicken. I was actually a little disappointed. It was overly sweet and the sweetness tasted separate from the curry itself. Anyhow, the next 2 lunch visits I had Vegetable Curry and Mutton Curry. They were as good as it gets for Indian/Nepal curry which is by far my favorite. Good curry house, quite a walk from Kanayama station. Sets are reasonably priced, 1100-1500 including nan, tandoori chicken, salad, as well as your choice of curry. Some sets include your choice of alcoholic/non alcoholic drink. There are three spice levels to choose from, and even the top one isn’t so bad..! If you want to go tanpin, curries are 6-700 yen individually. There’s quite a decent selection, including mutton. Service is fast and friendly. Nothing to fault really, good solid little curry house. 【注文】 店頭に出ているメニュー内容と、店内で席に座ってから見るメニュー内容で値段や品数が異なったので注意が必要です。店内のほうが正しそう。表示価格は税込み価格でした。

チーズナンセット（税込み1000円）を、バタンチキンカレーで注文。カレーは種類で価格が異なりますが、チーズナンセットだとどれでも同じ値段とのこと。 ドリンクはマンゴーラッシーを注文。

【おしぼり】 布ではなく紙タイプのおしぼりでした。

【サラダ】 注文後すぐサラダを持ってきてくれて、なおかつ、ミニボウルにたっぷり入っててGood👍 さらにもう1品、オマケ？の一皿がついてきました。

【チーズナン】 チーズナンは味も大きさも普通で、チーズが偏っていたため、食べた個所によってはチーズ味がしないこともありました。

【カレー】 バターチキンカレーの甘口（5段階の1）は、バターが見える形で乗っていて、それなりにバター風味がしました。 甘口でしたが結構辛くて、食べていて汗が出てきました。他のレビューでも甘口なのに辛くなったという意見がありましたが、たしかにこれは中辛くらいの辛さに思いました。

【プレーンナン】 おかわりのプレーンナンは、焼き立てふわふわで十分大きいサイズでGood👍

【ドリンク】 ドリンクのマンゴーラッシーは普通に美味しくてGood👍

【お会計・支払い方法】 お会計は、税込み1000円ビッタリ。この値段であのボリュームは満足度高くてGood👍 支払い方法は、現金以外はPayPayが使えました。
