Our friends have a 2 year old and it was his birthday, the restaurant prepared a yummy cake with a « 2 » candle. The owner lady sang happy birthday song with us. She was so lovely!

As my Japanese ability is only reading of hiragana & katakana, the boss is still willing to accommodate us for dinner, as long as you can read & understand the menu. This is just a neighborhood-like izakaya, requesting English ability is a bit over. BTW, the foods are over my expectation, highly recommended.

料理は美味しくメニュー豊富 但し、お一人様向きでは無い

2週間の滞在の最初の頃に1度訪問させて頂きました。 沖縄滞在時に通っていたお店が、閉店してしまい、常宿の近くで新しく開拓したいと探しているところに、評判を見て訪れました。

牧志の駅からすぐと立地も良く、 評判どおり料理は美味しいし、メニューもかなり充実していると思います。

こじんまりしたお店で客席数も限られる為、利用する場合は前もって予約した方がいいかも。

それと、お一人様向きでは無いかもしれません。 カウンター席はあるのですが、シールドをしていないとの事で、感染防止の為、テーブル席に通されます。 １人で黙々と食事をしたい方には良いとは思いますが、そうじゃない方にはツラいかも。

料理は美味しいのですが、旅の都合や時間を取って来てこれなら、普通に食堂に行ったり、テイクアウトやどこかで買って来たご飯をホテルの部屋で食べた方がいいかも…と思ってしまいました。

栄町でガンガン飲んで、ガンガン交流すると言うより、 ほどほどに飲んで食事も楽しみながら、お店の人とちょっとしたコミュニケーションを楽しめたら… という感じでしたが、残念ながらそれは叶わず再訪とはなりませんでした。

GWに入って状況は変わったかもしれないし、コロナが落ち着けはまた… とも考えますが、 でも、そもそも1人客を大切にしてる店であれば、あの時点でカウンターにもシールドを設けて使えるようにしてますよね…。
