Nostalgic. What an experience!!

Beautiful garden with fresh bitter gourd used to make the juice, butterfly cocoons ready to hatch soon, koi happy in the pond, blooming flowers and nursery... And the fluffy cat named "little tiger" who stares at the cat treats all the time (do ask for permission from owner before giving LT a treat as he may need some weight loss treatment).

Basically, it's a Japanese home and you are having tea in the old couples home. There are two fluffies, but one went on a long nap and did not appear. This cafe opens once a week or as per the sign says any other "feel good day". It's more like a hobby to the owners.

Do remember to visit if you happen to be at shuri castle on a Sunday. It's highly...

I found it by surprise when I decided to take a small rocky road to Naha instead of the main road, it said open only on Sundays, so I had to stop. Even though the photos from the inside look great, the day was so beautiful that I stayed in the garden looking at Naha-s view surrounded by plants. Both the ice coffee and the Okinawan donuts where so good. Very nice people...

Happened to stroll past after our Shuri Castle visit. Absolutely amazing. The owner just has his home available for guests to enjoy the company of his cats (neko) and amazing sound system (oto). Hence the name Otoneko. The ice coffee and traditional Okinawan doughnuts saatandagee were out of this world. Highly recommend making time for this local gem during your...

Such a beatifull place is rare in this World. You will sit in the living room of a traditional japanese house with the owner, which is smoking his pipe beside you, and the cozy cats come and want to play with you. The garden outside is also so nice and colorfull and invites you to stay a long time there! The menu is limited but this is not the reason why you will go there!

Canadian visiting the nearby Shuri Castle here and to say we were blown away by the service, delicious food and the view is an understatement. There is a quiet, pedestrian only path that leads from the castle down to Kinjo Stone Road and Kinjomuraya Old House. About halfway is this gem overlooking the valley. Amazing.
