Umi no Chimbora — Restaurant in Naha

A nice restaurant with an English menu (you can order via a tablet). There are plenty of options, even Okinawan food options. We just had a sashimi platter, some sushi and seafood tempura. The meal was great, the tempura was the best. Light, fluffy, crunchy, very tasty.

Had a great time at the bar table sitting next to a local who comes in every day for dinner and to make new foreign friends. He shared some his dishes with us to try and he also shared his bottle of awamori with us. Great fun so make sure you'll end up sitting next to him.

The most impressive meal I've ever had in Japan!! My friends and I ordered the food properly in Japanese, and at the first they served us 3 plates of sushi and さけ, and then nothing had came ever after! They even didn't notice the situation that they sent our food to the other cabin until we told them to check it out after a long time waiting and starving. They EVEN MISSED SOME OF OUR ORDER!!!!!!!!!!

Prices are moderate but the food is really good! No English menu but the staff did their best to help us out, and the menu has pictures. I recommend their daily fresh fish sashimi, and the tempura is divine! The tofu with fish is also really tasty, provided you aren't afraid of salty oceany flavors.
