I went there with one goal in mind for purchase: a Junji Ito book. Seeing there were multiple floors for this bookstore, I was immediately overwhelmed upon entry. If you’re like me and do not speak nor read the language, do not bother with the “help computers.” However, never fear! The available staff will graciously help you find what you’re looking for, escort you too!! The floors have well-thought out and spacious layouts. It was interesting to see books on American culture and politics. Of course, I found more items to purchase than I came in for. I simply LOVE the Studio Ghibli craft cards and mini-puzzles for small, easy to pack gifts. There were several to choose from. Part of me wants to give 2 stars for the management or whoever orders books. For few years now, whenever we head up to the travel section, the ONLY books available are about Kyoto, Tokyo....etc.
WELL...Hello! This store is located in Okinawa. It is unfortunate and disrespectful to not have sightseeing and travel and culture related books about Okinawa. Except a few Karate related books, there was none on multiple occasions.
