After a morning of visiting flower fields in Farm Tomita, we drove to the nearby Cafe Nokka for lunch. The cafe is located on a hill, just 5 mins' drive from Farm Tomita. Surrounded by matured trees, the cafe provides an ambience of remoteness, very different from the crowds at Farm Tomita.
My wife and I shared a Tartine sandwich set of Hokkaido Scallop-Avocado-Tomatoes and Mushrooms-Cheese-Asparagus; and Minestrone Soup. Our lunch was light, healthy and relaxing.
The cafe offers a variety of homemade sourdough bread, from which their sandwiches are prepared. We had wanted to order a raisins sourdough loaf for takeaway but by the time we finished our lunch, it was sold out.

We had a lovely, quiet time here enjoying their delicious food paired with freshly baked homemade bread made with natural yeast from raisins, and hearty minestrone soup with Hokkaido veggies. They also sell their homemade salad dressing in a bottle.

Came around 1 pm and no wait for a table.
Food was delicious and hit all the right spots.
