The food there was amazing. We went there for dinner on our visit for the trail, and although my experience with unagi is admittedly limited, it was the best I had so far. The owners/staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. They spoke effectively no English, and the menu was in Japanese as well, so using a translator app was almost a requirement, but they really did bend over backwards to serve as best as possible.
